During the past few weeks, Daddyman and I have been trying to get on top of a few projects around the outside of the house. This included the garden,sinking deck repair, sprinklers, and a stop waste valve that had to be fixed before the city raised how they calculate our water bill. Dad had only friday night/saturday morning to handle the valve issue. Adi and I had tickets to the "Drowsey Chaperone" (thank you Katie!), Philo was clearly NO help but---Jim Ostler zipped by on his motorcycle, saw the growing dirt pile from the hole and stopped in to help. He stayed with Dad until 10:30 or 11:00pm when the job was finished. Thank you Jim---for being such a great neighbor and friend!
